ETHICS STATEMENT

The annual film festival organized by Cineffable, a non-profit, all-volunteer organization, is open to women and/or lesbians. It promotes lesbian and feminist cultures.

In that context, we create a space where each of us should feel welcome, respected and safe. Consequently, neither hate speech nor any other form of offensive or discriminatory behavior or speech will be tolerated.

Sexist, racist, lesbo-phobic, bi-phobic, trans-phobic, ableist, ageist, fat-shaming, anti-Semitic and/or Islamophobic comments and attitudes in particular do not belong at the festival. This list is not exhaustive, of course.

Any person who is the target of, or witness to, inappropriate behavior or speech is invited to contact a festival organizer so that steps can be taken.
