Jennifer SMITH

Jennifer Smith is a filmmaker and a professor at the University of Georgia, where she teaches video production. She holds an M.F.A. in film from Columbia University, and a J.D. from the University of Miami. Her work has garnered numerous awards, screened at U.S. and international film festivals, and broadcast on cable networks such as HBO, Showtime Australia, The Sundance Channel, and BSkyB. Smith worked for Dreamchaser Productions in Dublin, Ireland on such projects as U2's Zooropa Tour, with Caravan Pictures, now Spyglass Entertainment, on feature films such as Rush Hour, and is Executive Producer on The Secret of Moonacre. She is a member of The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, is an Advisory Board member of the EcoFocus Film Festival, and serves as a judge for the Peabody Awards. While she has worked mostly as a producer, Jennifer is now making the transition to directing.
