Irene Zoe ALAMEDA

Irene Zoe Alamada was born in Madrid. She graduated in Hispanic philology and went on her studies in Germany and United States where she became a doctor in compared literature theory in Columbia University (New York). She translated to Spanish various novels and poetry book. She has been a literature teacher in various American and Spanish universities and between 2006 and 2009, she has been an investigator in the superior council of scientific investigations (CSIC). Her academic works on contemporary literature and arts appeared in specialised editions and in 2004, she wrote her first novel Sueños interesantes. Since 2002, she launched herself in the cinema and directed her first short film. In 2008, she created the production company Storyline Projects with which she made several successful short films (incl. Uniformadas) and ads and videoclips.
